Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
Kinship Guard helps families coordinate care for a loved one. This policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
Depending on the features you use, this may include your name and email, care-circle membership, care-recipient names and dates of birth, appointments, tasks, medication schedules and confirmations, journal entries, emergency information, and PDF documents or images you choose to upload. Care records may include allergies, conditions, disability or other sensitive health information. Documents may include financial or legal information. Only enter or upload information you are entitled to share with the care circle.
How we use information
We use information to provide shared care coordination, send account verification and password-reset emails, maintain account security, respond to support requests, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use medication details for advertising.
Sharing and security
Information is shared with members of the care circle according to the permissions selected by the circle administrator. We use access controls and encrypted transport; no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Service providers and subscriptions
Convex hosts the application backend and stored care records. Resend delivers account verification and password-reset emails. When you use subscription features, RevenueCat processes a generated care-circle billing identifier and purchase history and status to verify shared access and provide subscription analytics, such as subscription activity and revenue summaries; Apple or Google processes the store payment. The generated billing identifier can be linked through our backend to the care circle and payer account. It is not anonymous merely because it does not contain an email address. We do not send care records, medication details, journal entries or uploaded documents to RevenueCat.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account and its data yourself, at any time, from within the app: Delete account, at the bottom of any screen in the app. Full details of what is removed and what is kept are on the account deletion page. If you no longer have the app installed, email admin@royalnationllc.com from your account address and we will verify ownership before acting. A care circle shared with other people is not deleted, because its records belong to the people still providing care; account attribution is removed from retained journal entries, uploaded-document records and dose confirmations. Names or personal information written inside shared notes or uploaded files are not automatically removed from their contents. Deleting an account does not cancel a store subscription. Manage or cancel it through your Apple or Google account. Billing access may remain with a surviving care circle after the departing payer’s account link is removed. Store transaction records may be retained by payment providers under their policies. Some records may be retained where required for security or legal obligations.
Important limits
Kinship Guard is intended for adults coordinating family care. It is not a medical device or a substitute for professional medical advice or emergency services.
